Your Own Rainforest

While NFT technology is revolutionary, it currently comes with a high environmental cost as it’s partially responsible for the millions of tons of planet-heating carbon dioxide emissions generated by the cryptocurrencies used to buy and sell them.

We’re collaborating with TBNAR (To Be Named Atlantic Rainforest) to release the first & ultimate green NFT! 

Purchases of the TBNAR NFTs will fund reforestation in Brazil’s Atlantic rainforest which not only help offset carbon emissions but give also NFT holders a forest named after them and carbon credits. Brazil, the home to the largest rainforest in the world, offers the most impact for reforestation efforts with the necessary climate, scale and history of projects to generate massive levels of carbon sequestration. In this drop, and subsequent related drops (coming soon), we’re working to reach the minimum goal of $1 million in NFT sales to purchase rural land, fund administrative costs and start growing/rewilding hundreds of acres of rainforest.  With this goal, TBNAR would be offsetting the annual carbon footprint of over a hundred people, or Real Nifty’s expected carbon emission from future NFT mints over a thousand times over!  If our NFT volumes exceed our expectation, we will take our earnings to fund this or comparable projects so that Real Nifty remains carbon-negative.

This is the first of many unique NFTs for real assets (land & carbon credits) that’s good for the people involved and the environment.
